μ 原子与 μ 离子的激光光谱学

摘要

本文对轻 μ 原子或 μ 离子(其中一个负 μ 子 μ\mu^- 束缚于原子核)的 Lamb 移位(2S-2P 能级差)进行了激光光谱学测量。由于 μ 子质量大,其波函数与原子核的重叠度大幅增加,因此这些测量得到了显著改进的原子核均方根电荷半径值。质子和氘核半径的精度分别比相应的 CODATA 值高出 10 倍和 3 倍,但小了 7 个标准差。μ 氦-3 和 μ 氦-4 离子的数据正在分析中,将提供新的见解。未来,将通过 1S 超精细分裂的激光光谱学测定质子和氦-3 原子核的(磁)Zemach 半径,而 μ 锂、μ 铍和 μ 硼的 Lamb 移位可用于改进各自的电荷半径。
