Sr3Ir2O7 在整个布里渊区中的激光诱导瞬态磁子

摘要

尽管超快磁调控在新物理现象和应用方面前景广阔,但由于我们对磁关联如何在超快时间尺度上演化的理解有限,针对特定状态的调控受到阻碍。利用超快共振非弹性 X 射线散射,我们证明了飞秒激光脉冲可以在带隙反铁磁体中于大波矢处激发瞬态磁子,并且它们持续数皮秒,这与在近无隙磁体中所观察到的相反。我们的工作表明,具有各向同性磁相互作用的材料是实现快速磁调控的首选。
