固态基质中$^{229}$Th核同质异能跃迁的激光激发

摘要

掺杂有229^{229}Th的LiSrAlF6_6晶体被用于基于激光的核同质异能跃迁搜索。观察到核跃迁能量附近的两个光谱特征。第一个是宽激发特征,产生红移荧光,以几秒的时间尺度衰减。第二个是窄的、受激光线宽限制的光谱特征,位于148.38219(4)_{\textrm{stat}}(20)_{\textrm{sys}} nm (2020407.3(5)_{\textrm{stat}}(30)_{\textrm{sys}} GHz),以568(13)_{\textrm{stat}}(20)_{\textrm{sys}} s的寿命衰减。该特征被归因于229^{229}Th核同质异能态的激发,在229^{229}Th:LiSrAlF6_6中其能量为8.355733(2)_{\textrm{stat}}(10)_{\textrm{sys}} eV。
