我们报告了一个旨在约束银河系大尺度磁场和湍流磁场的项目的初步结果，该项目最终将纳入所有相关观测数据。在本文中，我们将流行的大尺度磁场模型拟合到WMAP3偏振图上。我们发现偏振数据可以约束某些模型参数，但不能唯一确定最佳拟合参数。我们还发现偏振数据单独无法区分模型对称性，例如磁场反转的存在。我们展示了未来的UHECR数据如何打破这种简并。
