激光产生磁化无碰撞激波反射实现离子加速的实验室观测

摘要

无碰撞激波的费米加速被认为是宇宙中产生高能带电粒子的主要机制,其中带电粒子通过激波前的多次反射 successively 获取能量。在此,我们展示了离子通过超临界准垂直无碰撞激波反射而获得能量的首个直接实验证据,这是激光产生磁化等离子体中费米加速的一个基本组成部分。我们利用飞行时间法在上游流中观测到速度为激波速度 2.4 倍的准单能离子束。我们相关的动力学模拟重现了该能量增益,并表明这些离子先被反射,随后主要由与激波相关的运动电场加速。该机制也可解释在地球弓形激波中观测到的准单能快离子成分。
