VLTI上Asgard/Hi-5的L波段零干涉成像:现状与计划

Hi-5是Asgard的L'波段(3.5–4.0 m)高对比度成像仪,Asgard是一套正为VLTI访客焦点准备的仪器套件。该系统针对单台UT/AT望远镜衍射极限内的高对比度、高灵敏度成像进行了优化。它被设计为一种双Bracewell零干涉仪,产生光谱色散(R=20、400或2000)的互补零输出以及用于自校准的同步测光输出。在本文中,我们介绍该项目的进展,特别关注总体架构、温光学与冷光学的光机设计、注入系统以及光子束组合器的开发。关键科学项目是巡测(i)雪线附近的邻近年轻行星系统(大多数巨行星预期在此形成),以及(ii)宜居带附近的邻近主序星,那里可能妨碍类地行星探测的系外黄道尘。我们基于使用VLTI新GRAVITY+参数和最新行星形成模型的完整端到端模拟,给出预期仪器性能的进展。
