摘要

本文尝试利用包含光度测量和视差/Proper motion 数据的中间纬度样本以及北赤道星系，寻找对厚盘人口的新约束。采用 SEM（随机-估计-最大化; Celeux \& Deibolt 1986）算法，对达到平面上大距离的星际成分进行解卷，允许独立研究其统计特性。多变量鉴别分析（MDA）用于在多维空间中（V、B-V、U-B、 $\mu_{l}$ 与 $\mu_{b}$ ）对厚盘进行鉴别。
