渐变折射率多模光纤中 LP_{11} 模式的克尔光束自净化

摘要
我们报道了在渐变折射率多模光纤中克尔光束自净化的实验观测，其输出光束剖面不同于钟形，而接近于 LP_{01} 模式。在特定耦合条件下，导模间的非线性耦合可将脉冲光束产生的输出散斑图案重塑为低阶 LP_{11} 模式。这在数米长的多模光纤中、以 1064 nm 正常色散 regime 下的 750 ps 脉冲观测到。LP_{11} 模式自净化所需的功率阈值约为克尔非线性自净化进入 LP_{01} 模式所需阈值的三倍。
