JWST/NIRSpec揭示年轻恒星盘风的嵌套形态

摘要

径向延伸的盘风可能是解开原行星盘如何吸积以及行星如何形成和迁移的关键。一个显著特征是它们的速度和化学嵌套形态。在此,我们报告了JWST/NIRSpec对金牛座恒星形成区中四个具有侧向盘的年轻恒星的光谱成像,这些结果证明了这种结构的普遍性。在每个源中,由[Fe II]示踪的快速准直喷流嵌套在更宽的低速H2(在一个案例中还有CO振转(v=1-0)发射)的空腔内部。此外,在我们的一个源中,ALMA CO(2-1)发射与我们的NIRSpec图像相结合,揭示了嵌套的盘风结构进一步向外延伸。这种嵌套的盘风形态有力地支持了风驱动吸积的理论预测,并强调了需要开展理论工作来评估风在行星系统形成和演化中的作用。
