摘要
我们回顾了利用高能重离子碰撞中 J/psi 抑制的信号来搜索夸克-胶子等离子体。NA50 合作组最近在高能 Pb-Pb 碰撞中观察到的异常 J/psi 抑制被 examined，并与早期 pA 和质量数较小的重离子核-核碰撞结果进行了比较。Pb-Pb 碰撞中 J/psi 抑制的异常可以被解释为由于在空间点上的核子-核子碰撞数超过约 4 时出现的一种新的强 J/psi 吸收相，该相对应于局部能量密度约为 3.4 GeV/fm**3。
