讨论关于Blandford-Znajek过程的若干问题，以证明它可以是激发伽马射线暴有效的机制。使用简单电路分析，认为盘功率会增加黑洞-盘系统的有效功率，尽管盘功率的一部分可被耗散到黑洞熵中。在强磁场条件下、以力学自由磁场磁流体力学框架内，发现磁力主导的MHD流可支持Blandford-Znajek过程，并证明由旋转黑洞产生的可能磁斥力不会显著影响效率。
