摘要
提出了阈附近 pp --> pp pi0 反应的一种新机制,源于 Roper 的同位旋标量激发及其向 N(pi pi) S 波的衰变,其中一个 π0 发射而另一个在第二个核子上被重吸收。该机制可与其他机制产生重要干涉,并连同实验一起排除了由 N* 部分衰变宽度所允许的 2π N* 衰变参数的大范围取值。
