内在 Baldwin 效应斜率是否恒定?

我们研究了发射线强度与连续光 luminosity 之间的关系，这是最被广泛研究的近距离 S0 1 星系 NGC5548 中的研究对象。我们对该源 13 年的地面基准光学监测数据进行分析，发现观察到的 H-beta 发射线响应在年份间存在显著变化。更具体地说，我们确认 Gilbert 和 Peterson (2003) 的结果，即连续光和 H-beta 发射线 fluxes 之间存在非线性关系。此外，我们显示，这一关系的斜率并非恒定，而是随着连续光 flux 的增大而减小。这两种效应都与光子化学模型中该线的 luminosity-dependent response 的预测相符。
