摘要
红外光谱仪（IRS）是装有在太空红外望远镜设施（SIRTF）上的三款仪器之一，将于 2001 年 12 月发射。IRS 将提供高分辨率光谱 R~600，覆盖 10--37 微米，以及低分辨率光谱 R~60，覆盖 5.3--40 微米。其高灵敏度和“光谱映射模式”使其成为观测微弱点状和延展性源的强大工具。
