z ~ 6 类 SDSS 强源的铁发射及其潜在意义

我们使用哈勃天文台的 NICMOS 仪器，对五个 5.3 < z < 6.3 的 SDSS 强源获得了低分辨率近红外光谱。我们发现所有五个对象中都有铁 II 复合体在约 2500 Å（波视）处的发射。我们估计 Fe II / Mg II 2800 Å 通量比与较低红移强源中测得的比值相当，这表明金属丰度接近或超过太阳值。我们讨论了在假设铁主要通过 Type Ia 超新星产生 enrichment 的情况下，此结果的潜在意义。
