我们介绍发表在《Comptes Rendus Physique》上的专题（开放获取）期刊号。该期聚焦于所谓的铁基超导体，自2008年Hosono group在F掺杂的LaFeAsO中发现超导电性以来，它们已成为凝聚态领域最新的热点之一。其旨在对这一新型高温超导体家族的基本特性提供最新概览。我们首先简要回顾超导电性的科学背景及其与金属化合物中磁性的关系，然后详述该期中涉及的铁基超导体的具体方面。
