Lockman洞的IRAC成像

IRAC对Lockman洞4.7×4.7平方度区域的成像检测到超过400个在IRAC 3.6微米和4.5微米波段的星系,120个在5.8微米,80个在8微米波段,仅用30分钟的观测时间。颜色-颜色图表明约有一半这些星系的红移为0.6<z<1.3,约四分之一的星系红移>1.3。我们还检测到了6个7个SCUBA源以及该区域内全部9个XMM源的IRAC对应物。检测到SCUBA源和z>1.3星系的对应物,证明了IRAC能够探测极高红移宇宙的能力。
