iPTF16geu:一颗多重成像的引力透镜型Ia超新星

摘要

我们报告发现一颗多重成像的引力透镜型Ia超新星 iPTF16geu (SN 2016geu),其红移为z=0.409z=0.409。之所以能识别这一现象,是因为恒星爆炸发出的光被介入星系周围物质的空间曲率放大了五十倍以上。我们利用高空间分辨率观测分辨出该透镜超新星的四个像,它们距前景星系中心约0.3"。这些观测探测的物理尺度为\sim1千秒差距,小于河外引力透镜其他研究中典型的尺度。大放大率和对称的图像构型意味着超新星视线与透镜之间紧密对齐。四个像的相对放大率提供了透镜星系中存在子结构的证据。
