摘要
本文从语音识别问题的角度研究了阿拉伯语。我们提出了一种构建阿拉伯语自动语音识别系统 (ASR) 的新方法。该系统基于卡内基梅隆大学开发的开源 CMU Sphinx-4。CMU Sphinx 是一个基于离散隐马尔可夫模型 (HMMs) 的大词汇量、说话人无关连续语音识别系统。我们利用开源 CMU Sphinx 的工具构建了一个模型，并将展示该系统对阿拉伯语语音识别的潜在适应性。
