LaNiO3/CaMnO3 超晶格中的界面铁磁性

摘要
我们在顺磁金属 LaNiO3 和反铁磁绝缘体 CaMnO3 的超晶格中观察到了界面铁磁性。LaNiO3 表现出依赖于厚度的金属 - 绝缘体转变，我们发现铁磁性的出现与 LaNiO3 的导电态相一致。也就是说，只有 LaNiO3 层为金属态的超晶格才表现出铁磁性。利用多种磁性探针，我们确定铁磁性产生于界面处单个晶胞厚度的 CaMnO3 中。综合这些结果表明，铁磁性可归因于由相邻巡游金属介导的 Mn 离子之间的双交换相互作用。
