摘要

第六代 (6G) 无线网络的快速发展需要 seamless integration communication and sensing to support ubiquitous intelligence and real-time、high-reliability applications。集成感知与通信 (ISAC) 已成为实现 this convergence 的关键 solution, offering joint utilization of spectral、hardware 和 computing resources。然而,实现 high-performance ISAC 仍面临 environmental line-of-sight (LoS) blockage、limited spatial resolution、以及 inherent coverage asymmetry 和 resource coupling between sensing and communication 的挑战。Intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRSs),具有 low-cost、energy-efficient 和 programmable electromagnetic reconfiguration, provide a promising solution to overcome these limitations。本 article 提供了 IRS-aided 无线感知和 ISAC 技术的 comprehensive overview, including IRS architectures、target detection and estimation techniques、beamforming designs 和 performance metrics. 它进一步探索了 IRS-enabled more efficient performance balancing、coexistence 和 networking in ISAC systems 的 new opportunities, focuses on current design bottlenecks, and outlines future research directions。本 article aims to offer a unified design framework that guides the development of practical and scalable IRS-aided ISAC systems for the next-generation wireless network。
