基于螺旋度依赖截面的中子 $\eta$ 光生窄结构研究

摘要

测量了准自由质子和中子上 η\eta 光生的双极化可观测量 EE 以及螺旋度依赖截面 σ1/2\sigma_{1/2}σ3/2\sigma_{3/2}。美因茨 MAMI 加速器的 A2 实验所用的圆极化标记光子束与纵向极化的氘代丁醇靶相结合。Crystal Ball 和 TAPS 近乎 4π4\pi 的探测器装置非常适合探测反冲核子以及 η2γ\eta\rightarrow 2\gammaη3π0\eta\rightarrow 3\pi^0 的衰变光子。结果表明,先前在中子 η\eta 光生中观测到的窄结构仅出现在 σ1/2\sigma_{1/2} 中,因此很可能对应于自旋-1/2 振幅。在 η\eta 产生中对该分波有贡献的核子共振只有 N1/2N1/2^-S11S_{11})和 N1/2+N1/2^+P11P_{11})。此外,从 σ1/2\sigma_{1/2} 角分布提取的勒让德系数与近期反应模型预测吻合良好,该模型假设此结构的起源是 P11P_{11} 波中的窄共振。
