摘要
经典新星将化学富化的气体与尘埃注入局部星际介质(ISM)。抛射物中的元素丰度可由红外(IR)禁线辐射推断得出。红外光谱学能够测定在新星抛射物中生长的晶粒的矿物学特征。我们预期 NASA 新建的平流层红外天文台(SOFIA)将对未来新星的红外研究产生重要影响。
