仙后座A超新星遗迹附近的红外回声

摘要
利用Spitzer太空望远镜在一年时间间隔内对仙后座A进行的两次24微米波段观测，在超新星遗迹壳层外部发现了运动结构，延伸到超过20角分的位置。单个特征表现出每年10至20角秒的视运动，近红外观测独立证实了这一点。观测到的切向速度大致接近光速。这些运动结构很可能是红外回声，即星际尘埃被爆炸和遗迹中心致密天体的耀斑加热的结果。
