自旋梯化合物(VO)2P2O7的非弹性中子散射

摘要

我们展示了候选Heisenberg自旋梯钒基焦磷酸盐(VO)2P2O7的非弹性中子散射实验结果。我们发现了自旋波激发隙Egap=3.7±0.2E_{gap} = 3.7\pm 0.2 meV的证据,位于接近Q=0.8A1Q=0.8 A^{-1}的带最小值处。这与自旋梯模型中(VO)2P2O7的三重态自旋波预期一致,并且据我们所知,这是自然界中Heisenberg反铁磁自旋梯的首次确认。
