La$_{0.7}$Sr$_{0.3}$MnO$_3$/BiFeO$_3$超晶格中的诱导磁化

摘要

利用极化中子反射术 (PNR),我们在 La0.7_{0.7}Sr0.3_{0.3}MnO3_3 (LSMO)/BiFeO3_3超晶格中观测到 10 K 下为 75±\pm 25 kA/m 的诱导磁化,该磁化从界面延伸穿过 BiFeO3_3 (BFO) 的数个原子层。基于密度泛函理论解释了 BFO 中的诱导磁化,其中 BFO 的带隙大小起着重要作用。考虑到 LSMO 与 BFO 层之间的经典交换场,我们进一步表明磁化有望贯穿整个 BFO,从而为中子散射实验结果提供了理论解释。
