改进越南语-英语医学机器翻译

摘要
越南语-英语医学领域的机器翻译仍是一个有待深入探索的研究领域。本文引入 MedEV——一个专门为医学领域构建的高质量越南语-英语平行数据集，包含约 36 万个句子对。我们在新的 MedEV 数据集上进行了大量实验，比较了 Google Translate、ChatGPT (gpt-3.5-turbo)、最先进的越南语-英语神经机器翻译模型以及预训练的双语/多语言序列到序列模型。实验结果表明，针对每个翻译方向微调“vinai-translate”取得了最佳性能。我们公开发布该数据集以促进进一步研究。
