改进顶夸克质量的测量

摘要
研究了两种提高强子顶夸克衰变 jets质量分辨率的方法：（1）在和的静止系中使用固定锥来定义衰变喷注，而不是在探测器静止系中使用传统锥；（2）利用顶夸克静止系中的喷注角度来测量。通过蒙特卡洛模拟，发现第二种方法能有效改善质量分辨率。它可以与通常的不变质量方法结合，以获得更好的质量测量。改进的分辨率可用于更精确地确定顶夸克质量，并改善事件与背景的区分。
