GstLAL 致密双星并合旋进搜索的改进排序统计量

摘要

自 2023 年 5 月起,LIGO 科学、Virgo 与 KAGRA 合作组计划以提升的探测器灵敏度及包含 KAGRA 的扩展探测器网络开展第四次观测运行。相应地,优化低延迟搜索管线的探测算法、提升其对致密双星并合引力波的灵敏度至关重要。本工作中,我们讨论了为基于 GstLAL 的旋进管线排序统计量开发的若干新特性,主要包括:信号污染去除、bank-ξ2\xi^2 引入、升级的 ρξ2\rho-\xi^2 信号模型以及 KAGRA 的整合。注入研究表明,这些新特性使管线灵敏度提升约 15% 至 20%,为即将到来的观测运行中进一步的多信使观测铺平道路。
