核反冲中头尾效应测量的改进

我们展示了由 DMTPC 合作组开发的用于测量暗物质风方向标记(头尾)的原型探测器的新结果。我们利用 Cf-252 源产生的中子,通过与残留气体核的弹性散射产生低动量核反冲。反冲径成像于带有光学读出的低压时间投影室中。我们测量了沿反冲轨迹的电离率,这使得我们能够确定入射中子的方向标记。
