摘要
诱导平滑性的惩罚项在非参数回归中很常见。在许多情况下，数据生成函数的平滑程度未知。Simon 和 Shojaie（2021）推导了误指定平滑性下非参数估计量的收敛速率。我们证明，通过使用方便的逼近函数，可以改进他们的理论收敛速率。卷积和高阶核的性质使这些逼近函数比 Simon 和 Shojaie（2021）中使用的函数更接近真实函数。因此，我们获得了更紧的收敛速率。
