最近有研究提出，两种测量中子寿命的方法之间的偏差，可能是由一种几乎与中子简并的暗物质粒子的未知衰变模式所致。我们探讨了这一设想对中子星性质的影响，发现中子星的已知性质与此类粒子的存在相矛盾。
