摘要
在简要回顾恒星自转对恒星结构和演化的主要影响之后，探讨了四个主题：1) 磁场与自转之间的联系；2) 自转对星团年龄测定的影响；3) 由于潮汐作用，行星轨道与恒星之间的角动量交换；4) 自转对银河系早期化学演化以及碳增丰贫金属星起源的影响。
