IEEE 802.15.3d:面向6G的亚太赫兹频段通信首次标准化努力

摘要

随着 IEEE 802.15.3d 对 802.15.3 的修订获得批准,在亚太赫兹(sub-THz)频段标准化消费级无线通信方面迈出了第一步。IEEE 802.15.3d 提供交换式点对点连接,数据速率达 100 Gbit/s 及以上,距离从数十厘米至数百米不等。本文详细介绍了 IEEE 802.15.3d 及所制定标准背后的关键设计原则。我们特别描述了目标应用与使用场景,以及 IEEE 802.15.3d 物理层与介质访问层的具体细节。随后,我们给出了 IEEE 802.15.3d 无线通信初步性能评估的结果。所得的一阶性能预测显示,与第五代无线系统的特性相比具有非渐进式收益,从而为第六代(6G)太赫兹网络铺平了道路。我们在文章结尾概述了太赫兹频段无线网络的进一步标准化与监管活动。
