基于实验室实验从红外 VIRTIS/Rosetta 数据识别丘留莫夫-格拉西缅科彗星表面的铵盐:意义与展望

摘要

67P/丘留莫夫-格拉西缅科彗星的彗核在 3.2 μ\mum 附近呈现出宽谱反射特征,该特征遍布于表面的所有光谱中,且自发现以来其归属一直不明。基于实验室实验,我们已表明该吸收特征的大部分源于与暗色表面物质混合的铵(NH4+)盐。该谱带的深度与半挥发性铵盐作为彗星中氮的主要储库相一致,其可能主导难熔有机质与挥发性物种。这些盐因而可能代表彗星中长期寻找的氮储库,有可能使其氮碳比与太阳值相符。此外,若干小行星的反射光谱与它们表面存在 NH4+ 盐相兼容。此类盐以及其他含 NH4+ 化合物在小行星、彗星以及可能的原恒星环境中的存在,表明 NH4+ 可能是冰、矿物和有机质中氮在不同太阳系形成阶段被纳入与转化的示踪剂。
