IceCube——南极冰层下一代 neutrino 探测器

摘要
IceCube 是下一代建造在南极冰盖近南极点地区的大型 neutrino 探测器。我们present了IceCube探测器的概念设计及其对预测的 neutrino 流量（包括大气 neutrino 和外星 neutrino）的探测灵敏度。已对探测器设计进行完整的模拟，以研究其搜索来自如活跃星系、伽玛射线暴等天体来源的 neutrino 的能力。
