HST 侧向运动确认 PSR B1929+10 的光学探测

摘要
我们使用于 2001 年收集的 HST/STIS 图像，对候选光学对应物——距离近且年轻的脉冲星 PSR B1929+10 的侧向运动进行测量。这组图像距原始 FOC 检测（Pavlov 等 1996）约 7.2 年后获得。测得的年度位移为 mas/yr，沿位置角 度的方向，这与最新的 VLBA 射电测量结果完全一致。该结果为 PSR B1929+10 在光学波段的鉴定提供了稳健的确认。
