智能反射面应如何扩展以硬化多天线信道?

摘要
本工作将信道硬化概念扩展至由智能反射面(IRSs)辅助的多天线系统。对于多天线发射机与单天线接收机之间的衰落链路,我们推导了当反射单元数量增大时输入输出互信息分布的精确近似。渐近结果表明,只要 IRS 的物理尺寸也随之增大,通过增加 IRS 上的单元数量,端到端信道便会硬化。然而,其增长速率无需为特定阶数,且可显著亚线性。数值实验证实了分析结果的有效性。
