开发人员有时会将行为保持性修改(如重构)与行为改变性修改(如功能添加)混合。已提出若干方法来支持通过分离这两部分来理解此类修改。此类重构感知方法在行为保持部分可分解为更原始的行为保持操作(如重构)时,预期尤其有效,但这一点尚未得到探索。在本文中,作为初始验证,我们量化了行为保持性修改可被分解为重构操作的程度,使用一个功能等价方法对的 数据集。结果表明,当使用现有的重构检测器时,仅有 33.9% 的更改被识别为重构操作。相比之下,纳入 67 个新定义的函数等价操作后,覆盖率提高了 128% 以上。进一步对剩余未解释的差异进行调查,表明了改进的机会。
