在过去十年中，通信系统、终端、软件及部署服务行业经历了显著的技术内部演进和客户端外部革命（如互联网、移动网络与终端、宽带等）。很少有管理研究探讨在当前技术/组织周期中， irrespective of 需求量的变化，这些行业的财务生存能力。本文分析了真正的强制性开放通信标准、更高产品产量、极高的研发投入、更广泛使用 sourced/purchased 技术以及合同制造的影响。所采用的方法是均衡分析。文中将提及两个具体领域作为示例。本文还展示了这些行业在后续周期中最终如何反弹。
