PandaX-II 中的水平位置重建

摘要

双相惰性气体时间投影室(TPCs)在过去几十年中提高了暗物质直接搜寻的灵敏度。TPC 重建 keV 尺度反冲的 3 维顶点的能力是最具优势的特征之一。在这项工作中,我们为使用双相液氙 TPC 的 PandaX-II 暗物质搜寻实验开发了两种水平位置重建算法。两种算法均通过 83m^{83m}Kr 刻度事件进行优化,并利用电离信号在光电倍增管间的光子分布来推断位置。根据来自栅极的事件,对于 TPC 中心处具有数千光电子的电离信号,水平位置的不确定度在分析(基于模拟)算法中为 3.4 mm(3.9 mm)。
