RS Ophiuchi 系统的历史质量损失

已在多次观测中探测到再发新星 RS Ophiuchi 中的尘埃。我对历史中红外测光数据以及 2006 年爆发后仅半年获取的 Spitzer 空间望远镜光谱进行了建模。发现尘埃包层受爆发影响甚微。我提供了证据表明，RS Oph 的爆发乃至其红巨星风可能塑造了星际介质，并对再发矮新星 T Pyxidis 展示了类似证据。
