我们展示了覆盖激变变星系统1RXS J180834.7+101041一次食过程的高速测光数据。这些数据被建模为来自一个包含一颗充满其洛希瓣的低质量恒星和一颗带有吸积盘的白矮星的密近双星系统。我们发现轨道倾角为77.07 +/- 0.47度，质量比为0.168 +/- 0.016。相对较低的倾角意味着在该系统中，只有吸积盘而非白矮星被低质量恒星所掩食。
