近距离Type Ia超新星的高分辨光学研究

自2000年4月起，一个使用ESO/VLT/UVES的项目用于搜索最近超新星的早期周星际气体迹象的活动已实施。迄今为止，已观测到两例Type Ia超新星，分别为SNe 2000cx和2001el。在本文中，我们报告了关于SNe 2001el的初步结果，并讨论如何将观测结果与详细建模相结合，用于推导该 progenitor 系统（前体系统）风的上限。对于速度为10公里/秒的氢富风，SNe 2001el的前体系统每年质量损失率不足于1O^{-5}个太阳质量。
