Great Observatories Origins Deep Survey为理解星系与超大质量黑洞形成之间的相互作用,以及测量QSO对UV离子化背景的贡献,提供了对较亮QSO在高红移空间密度的重要约束。我们展示了在两个GOODS场中搜索高红移QSO的结果,这些QSO是基于深层光学(使用HST)和X射线(Chandra)成像得出的,并讨论了早期宇宙中QSO的允许空间密度。
