IGR J16320-4751 于 2003 年 2 月初在观察黑洞候选对象 4U 1630-47（PI Tomsick）期间由 INTEGRAL 上的 IBIS/ISGRI 重新发现。该源已被 ASCA 和 BeppoSAX 观察，属于高度吸收的对象（N_H > 10^23 cm^-2），这些对象在银河的某些臂段中居多。IGR J16320-4751 在 IBIS/ISGRI 的再检测后很快被 XMM-Newton 观察：使用 XMM 的亚秒位置允许寻找最可能的红外对称物。我们在此呈现了对 IGR J16320-4751 通过 IBIS/ISGRI 检测到的高能辐射的再分析，包括谱和时间特征。我们还呈现了对 XMM-Newton 和光学/IR 数据的再分析。
