超导射频光发射电子枪产生的高亮度连续波电子束

摘要
在高加速梯度下运行的连续波光注入器有望革新科学与应用的诸多领域。它们可为一新一代单色X射线自由电子激光、高亮度强子束或新一代微芯片生产奠定基础。在本快报中,我们报道了采用光阴极、性能创纪录的超导射频电子枪。该枪产生高电荷电子束团(高达10 nC/束团)和低横向发射度,同时使用单一光阴极可运行数月。这一成就开启了产生具有极高平均亮度的功率束流的新时代。
