摘要
我们利用来自斯隆数字巡天的 83,000 个位于 的恒星形成星系，来研究所谓的基本金属丰度关系 (FMR)，并报告当使用 Dopita 等人最近提出的新金属丰度指标时，其金属丰度与恒星形成率 (SFR) 之间反相关的消失。在这种定标中，金属丰度主要对发射线比 [NII]6584 / [SII]6717, 6731 敏感，而该线比对可能驱动 FMR 与 SFR 反相关的原始下落气体的稀释作用不敏感。因此，我们得出结论，FMR 的表观消失（使用这一新金属丰度指标）并不排除其存在。
