异质结构作为镍酸盐超导体电子掺杂的途径

摘要

尽管该研究领域投入巨大,镍酸盐超导体的电子掺杂侧仍是未知领域。用四价稀土阳离子取代三价稀土阳离子的尝试迄今未获成功。在此,我们通过第一性原理计算展示了一种无无序的途径来对Ruddlesden-Popper镍酸盐进行电子掺杂。当将宽带隙绝缘层如LaXXO3_3XX=Al, Ga, Sc)插入La2_2NiO4_4时,额外的(LaO)+^+层充当电子供体,将载流子释放到Ni-3dd轨道中。这种电子掺杂使La2_2NiO4_4:La2_2AlO4_4自然处于dx2y2d_{x^2-y^2}波超导的最佳区域,其Tc_c超过50 K。同样的概念也使我们能够对La3_3Ni2_2O7_7(备受瞩目的超导体)进行电子掺杂。
