摘要
蒙特卡洛程序 HERWIG（版本 6.1）的新版本现已可用。本说明简要介绍了相对于先前版本（5.9）的新特性。完整更新的手册将很快发布。主要新特性包括：强子-强子碰撞中的超对称过程（包括 R 宇称守恒和 R 宇称破坏）；新的 e⁺e⁻→4 喷注过程；顶夸克衰变和 Drell-Yan 过程的矩阵元修正；新的软本底事件选项；粒子数据表的更新；新的 LaTeX 和 html 输出选项。
